Description

The TP-Link XZ000-G7 1-Port Gigabit XPON Terminal is a next-generation optical network terminal (ONT) designed for Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) solutions, offering robust and high-speed connectivity for residential and small business environments. Compliant with ITU-T G.984 GPON and IEEE 802.3ah EPON standards, it supports XPON dual-mode operation, providing maximum data rates of up to 2.488Gbps downstream and 1.244Gbps upstream in GPON mode, and 1.25Gbps downstream/upstream in EPON mode. This flexibility ensures compatibility with various fiber ISPs, delivering seamless HD video streaming, VoIP, and high-bandwidth services.

The XZ000-G7 features one SC/APC PON port for fiber connectivity and one 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 LAN port for high-speed wired connections to devices like routers, PCs, or smart TVs. Its plug-and-play design simplifies installation, requiring minimal configuration. The device supports advanced optical features like Upstream/Downstream FEC, Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA), AES encryption, up to 16 T-CONTs, and 256 GEM Ports, ensuring efficient and secure data transmission. It uses a DFB laser for upstream (1310nm) and a PIN-TIA receiver for downstream (1490nm), with a maximum distance of 20km.

Security is enhanced with packet filtering based on VLAN, IP/MAC binding, and a SPI firewall to protect against threats like DoS attacks. The router supports 802.1Q VLAN (transparent, translation, or trunk modes), VLAN auto-detect, and authentication based on SN/password. IGMP v1/v2/v3 enables optimized IPTV streaming.
